Hi, I’m Josie, the founder of Rooted Bookkeeping. My husband and I both grew up in Whatcom County, and now we’re raising our son here. This community is home, and I started Rooted Bookkeeping to help small businesses here at home and wherever else they’re located.

I earned my bachelor’s degree at Central Washington University and my Master’s in Accounting, then spent two and a half years in public accounting. That work showed me how much good books matter, and how much owners value someone who keeps them right and explains them clearly.
